"If you want your old life back because the town you grew up in grew up too, just visit this sweet Coffee n Cream shop. The best coffee ever and I herd the ice cream was heavenly. We will be back this Tuesday for the ice cream. And the BIG porch swing. Put your boots on and get back to reality. Life as you use to remember and love you'll feel is only a short drive away. "Micanopy Fl. Big thumbs up to Vina and Callie. Supper cool. We enjoyed our visit today with you and hope to meet Kelly Harris Tuesday on our next visit. We will send our friends."
"This is a slice of Americana everyone must see & feel. Whether being greeted by Kelley or staff you will soon feel at home here. Take time to have a swing on the porch and soak in the wonderful atmosphere. The "Aunt Sherri's" Chicken Salad is to die for!"
"We took our friends away from the hussle and bussle of Wellington, FL to Micanopy to shop the amazing shops and we topped the visit off with delicious cups of coffee from CoffeeNCream. Their store is so welcoming and relaxing we did not want to leave. Keep up the Great Job you are doing, we plan on making many more trips to your wonderful store."
"Been here a few times now, but only for ice cream. Can I tell you that there's a gal in there that REALLY knows how to make a sundae? First she started with a brownie which she said was still warm from the oven. She heated it slightly in the microwave and then proceeded to add an assortment of ingredients that we hadn't even requested, but made this particular sundae the best sundae I've ever had. First she plopped on a scoop of pecan praline ice cream. That was topped off with whipped cream, then toasted pecans, then hot fudge, then caramel, then a cherry, and I think there were sprinkles on top. It was great! Though, too much to eat so I shared it with a friend. We sat out on the porch, where per usual there was a man playing the fiddle. The wind was blowing ever so slightly and both my friend and I agreed that we had been transported to another place in time (could've been the sugar high, though.) But I felt like I was in a Ken Burns documentary. You can get lunch and fudge here, too. Menu offerings will be something like Frito Pie or another casserole of sorts."
"My friend and I had a wonderful lunch here recently on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We dined on the porch as we enjoyed a slight rain shower. The shower just seemed to add to the ambiance of this lovely town. We both ordered the stuffed tomato with chicken salad. Mmmm…delicious!! The walnuts in the salad were a nice touch. A trio of musicians entertained us with some good ol’ down-home music. We sang along at times…as we actually remembered some of the words! It was great fun and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks to the staff for your friendly service and great food."
"The ice cream is the best ever!!!! This is the cutest little part of town too."
"Great little get away from crowds in town.Fresh salads and great chili too.The chicken and dumplings are to die for."
Kelly and her staff make delicious sandwiches and soup. At reasonable prices. Also have thick shakes and serve delicious ice cream. Pleasant atmosphere in the middle of Micanopy. Sometimes having a band playing out on the front porch.
Relaxed atmosphere, great sandwiches, friendly staff...and delicious ice cream for starters. Live music available at times. Dog friendly on front porch. Great place to visit then walk back in time in Micanopy!
One of the best experiences ever, such a warm and friendly staff. My ultimate favorite Ice Cream now is the Blueberry Cheesecake. Um um good!
Charming, wonderful little cafe. It doesn't get much better than this; from the tasty food & drinks to the ambiance of historic Micanopy, which you can enjoy by dining outside on the patio.
The staff was warm & welcoming - making me feel like a dear old friend rather than a visiting traveler venturing in for the 1st time. A positive, heartwarming experience for someone road weary & feeling like a stranger in a strange land. This sweet cafe actually influenced my decision to relocate to this unique little town.
Definitely a must see & do when in Micanopy.
Coffee n' cream is one of my top favorite places to eat! I have tried just about everything on the menu but the chicken salad is my favorite! When visiting the wonderful town of Micanopy Coffee n' Cream is the place to eat!
So glad we were looking for antique stores and ended up in Micanopy. What a cute little town!! We look in all the stores and everyone was so friendly. We decided to have lunch before hitting the road and boy am I glad we did. I felt like I was sitting in an old friend's kitchen. I ordered the stuffed tomato on salad. My tomato was stuffed with chicken salad and it was delicious. The entire time I was eating a dish of freshly baked brownies were calling to me. Glad I was still on vacation time, I got one with vanilla ice cream. It was a delicious end to a great lunch. While traveling venture off the beaten path for real food. You won't be sorry.
Shady found us a while back and he became Coffee n' Cream's mascot. He would usually be found sleeping the day away on our sofa in twisted poses.
